If you're tired of the same boring food at every catered event try Ne Me Quitte Pas. Chef Paul Spillane is an amazing cook and very professional.   I don't usually "Yelp" but signed up just for this.

We had a dinner for 10 last Saturday. It was terrific. 6 courses, plus dessert. And passed hors d’Oeuvres (spelling???) to start, so many different things. 

Every course was special - something remarkable and interesting. These guys clearly put in a ton of work, and with passion. If you want a caterer that is more than filling bellies, if you love food and want it to be a part of your event, these guys are perfect.

At the same time, they never imposed on us. They didn't break into conversations to tell you about their creations. They answered if they were asked. They weren't showing off, they let the food speak for itself.

I love the Short Ribs with Mission Fig Glaze the best (the sixth course) served with Sunchoke-Cauliflower Puree, Celery Greens and Mushroom Consommé with Morels. (they did nicely put a menu at each place setting - and very nicely without plastering their name across it)

And they brought all their own stuff, and left the kitchen cleaner than when they arrived.

One more thing - we bought the dinner for 10 at a charity auction. These guys donated their time, effort and the food and wine. All the money went to charity. I don't usually post reviews, but it was really great and for someone who does all that for charity, I thought I'd take the time to let the world know.

I was referred to Fox Grape after experiencing their amazing food at a friend's wedding reception. She and I are both vegetarian so I was confident they were the ones to cater MY wedding. Three years later, my non-vegetarian friends and family still rave about the food. So when I was given the task to through my best friend's 'tea-party- themed' bridal shower, I knew just who to call. Fox Grape knocked it out of the park with a mix of vegan/non-vegan finger sandwiches, mini-quiches and terrine salads. Even the most finicky eaters LOVED every bite! They made the planning process for BOTH events stress-free, they were open to accommodating specific dietary restrictions without compromising flavor and visual appeal. Paul responded to my emails quickly and works in a warm and confident manner. He is a true professional. It is clear that he loves what he does and takes great pride in creating delicious and affordable food that will leave a lasting impression on all of your guests. This was actually not a wedding but our annual Winter Solstice Party, which Paul and Brent have catered for us for about the past seven years, along with various other events. I cannot recommend Fox Grape Catering highly enough. These two are artists; it just happens that their medium is food. They work with you to design a menu specific to your needs, put an number of personal, elegant touches on it, and hand-pass the goodies throughout. They are unfailingly polite and cheerful, and all my guests love them. This caterer is tops.

As I was just clicking the stars, I thought "I can't give someone all 5 stars, that doesn't seem believable." The thing is, though: There isn't one area where these guys let me down.

When we first met Paul, we were enchanted. He's so warm and lovely and really funny! When we started to talk about the menu, every request we had was met~~from food preferences or costs to allergies of some guests. He makes everything from scratch and he and his partner are completely professional, hiring an incredible team to facilitate everything on the big day.

They even had suggestions as to where I should rent my tables, chairs, and tent from. I cannot recommend them highly enough, my wedding day wouldn't have been the same without them!

I thought my wedding was awesome, and Paul was such a huge part of that. The food was amazing - really classy and interesting things, totally delicious, and unique. Also very reasonably priced for what you get! They bake all their own breads, make all their own butters, do all the pastries in-house. The staff was extremely polite and professional. Paul was also really helpful with rentals and other related things. They also did all our menu cards for us, designed to match our invitations - they looked great!

In addition to the quality and value for cost, working with this company was great. Paul was responsive and had thoughtful and helpful answers to all our questions. He is very detail-oriented, and also an extremely nice person - a wonderful combination. Paul designed our menu totally from scratch - we were never asked to pick from any list. We just talked about what we wanted and went from there. It was amazing to have that level of customization and flexibility.

Bottom line: we found Fox Grape early in the planning process, and I'm so glad we did. Hiring them was hands down the best decision we made.

I cannot even begin to thank Paul and Fox Grape enough for every detail, every taste, and every moment of our wedding. From the second we talked to him, he was a dream come true. My family members are foodies and had high hopes for our catering menu, but no one was prepared for the experience we received. Tiny lobster rolls with vanilla, truffle tater tots, bowls based on our wedding theme, handmade containers for every food item based on our invite design, handmade corzetti, seared scallops so perfectly cooked, black cod chowder made with bacon and love...the list goes on and on and on. This food is amazing.  We had two very different functions in two days, and Paul handled them both magnificently.  One was a sandwich set-up, and the meats and cheeses were beautifully displayed as well as tasty.  The two salads were gorgeous and absolutely delicious.  He set the serving table with great care, and it impressed all the guests.  

The second day was a hot food buffet with three different lasagnas (the seafood lasagna was the favorite), a wonderful salad of Winter veggies, and a roasted tomato and mozzarella salad as well.  We also had one of his punches - and that was a huge hit.  

Everything from presentation to menu selection to cooking to clean-up was extraordinary.  We will definitely use Paul and Fox Grape Catering again.
